Greetings comrades!
I speak to you from the Communist League of Sweden and bring forth our intentioned Red salute to all comrades, hosts and participants and all comrades in the world who take this very special occasion to celebrate the 200 years since the birth of Karl Marx. We greet all the actions that has taken place during this global campaign. For us Karl Marx is of utmost importance and as an organization that strive for the formation of a genuine Communist Party of Sweden we need Marx, his thoughts, clearness and fighting spirit as a true revolutionary.
We work on two levels, by uniting all Maoists and Maoists in formation and as well by struggling in the midst of the mass work, at workplaces, residential areas, proletarian suburbs and in various organizations of the united front. With this two parts of struggle we fight against the forces of Swedish imperialism for the socialist revolution and strategically we focus on the proletarian suburbs, the biggest industries and to spread our red mission to all corners of Sweden.
Regarding the unification of the Maoists we are developing a system of study circles and are having a two-line struggle in the process of forming a Program, studying and investigating the history of Sweden, the class structure, the venomous role of revisionism and especially the history of the communists. We uphold the comrade Set Person as one of the best communist leaders that worked in Sweden, as a class fighter, and anti-revisionist. We express our solidarity with all fighting communists in the world and specially with those that are in the Peoples wars. Today our forces are limited and our internationalist work is way too small to make a difference, this is, however, a work in progress. We are proletarian internationalists and are overwhelmingly joyful to see, hear and feel the attendance of communists here.
Since “the people, and the people alone, are the motive force in the making of world history”, as chairman Mao Zedong said, we as communists are fighting alongside the masses in their daily struggle and even though we at present are a relatively small organization, we refuse to be isolated from the people and the proletariat and we concern ourselves with the problems of the masses through the principle of “from the masses to the masses” and from the Manifesto “the communists, therefore, are on one had, practically the most resolute section of the working-class parties of every country, that section which pushes forward all others; on the other, theoretically, they have over the great mass of the proletariat the advantage of clearly understanding the line of march, the conditions and the ultimate general results of the proletarian movement”. We have been focusing concretely on the struggle of students, for the immigrants and the housing problems of evictions to formulate work-place related politics
So once more we express our happiness and feeling of enthusiasm for this celebration and of all you participants, and a specially greeting to the hosts, and we are glad and honored to have received the invitation to come to Bremen.
Red Salute!
